Danielle Smiley

Danielle is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who joined our practice in May of 2017. She is originally from Moosup, CT and moved to Florida in 2007 to pursue an education in nursing. She began her healthcare career working as a Patient Care Tech while enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing program at the University of South Florida. She graduated with her nursing degree in 2010 and worked as a pediatric nurse for 5 years in one of Tampa bay’s local hospitals as a member of their Float Team and Emergency Department. Through her work as a Registered Nurse she realized that she not only wanted to evaluate the patients she cared for but she wanted the ability to also treat and manage their overall health. She enrolled at the University of Tampa in their Family Nurse Practitioner program and graduated with honors in 2015 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Florida Nurse Practitioner organization. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, having fun on life’s adventures with her husband, and spoiling her fur baby rotten.
